For the past twelve years Mike Karberg has been actively involved in the Chicago beverage scene from barback to bartender to Beverage Director. As the former Beverage Director at Chicago’s Untitled Supper Club, Karberg was the curator of over 900 whiskeys acquired from around the world earning him the reputation of having one of the most unique beverage programs in the city. In addition, Karberg favored American whisky and custom barrel selections from various distilleries all over the country. Mike also has experience working for Beam Suntory and Proximo Spirits focusing on growing craft distillery brands. His training included going to Laphroaig, Bowmore and Auchentoshan Distilleries in Scottland. He learned about tequila in Mexico and Gin in London and domestically studied whiskey in Kentucky and Colorado.
